Rebecca Willmann-Albrecht, Massage Therapist
Not only am I a massage therapist, but I am also a physical therapist. In 2003 I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Maryville University in St.Louis with a Bachelors degree in Health Science and a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. I have always loved being a physical therapist and in an effort to be a better PT in 2006 I went back to school to become a certified massage therapist. While in school at The Body Therapy Center (through SWIC) I discovered that I also enjoyed giving massages so I decided to give massages on my days off from my job as a physical therapist. Because of my physical therapy background I specialize in massage as a treatment for pain, although I do also perform the ever popular swedish massage for relaxation.
I live in Collinsville with my wonderful husband Craig who is an RN at Barnes Hospital in St.Louis in the cardiac cath lab. We have been together since 2002 and married since 2005. We have 2 cats who we lovingly refer to as our "fur babies". My salon hours are Tue 9:00am-7:00pm, Thur 9:00am-5:00pm, and Sat 1:00am - 5:00pm, please call the salon at 618.344.8280 to schedule you next relaxing massage or spa treatment!
My Tip: Its best to give yourself plenty of time before and after your appointment. You do not want to rush into your appointment full of stress and you don't want to be worried about what you have to do after it either. A massage should be a quiet time to relax.
