Spring into Style!!!!!!

Spring is here and it is time to get out and start moving around! The weather has been amazing. Some of us at Spataneous just went to our yearly hair show and have some great new techniques and fresh ideas we are "dying" to try out. We are also doing a color class very soon.

If you haven't been in lately, we are doing some new things with the decor. I'm so excited! So keep looking around when you come in and take in all the new things around the shop.

Hair trends for 2009

Some of the top trends for 2009 are fun and simple. Long ponytails, volumed hairstyles, wavy hairstyles, one sided hairstyles, center parts, buns, and braids are some of the hottest styles for this spring. One of the most popular shades of hair color for 2009 is RED. Warm shades of red are going to make a big statement. A brunette has always managed to make heads turn. Blondes are going natural. Add rich highlights and lowlights for just the right contrast. A deep chocolate brown or a dark black are also on this years list. Highlights are going golden. If, by chance, you have black, purple or stripy highlights, get rid of them right away.

2009 is all about the natural look.

Wear less makeup

In the warmer months you should wear much less makeup than you do in the winter. Put away those dark lipsticks and liners. This spring keep your make up routine simple. A tinted moisturizer is a good alternative to heavy foundation. For daytime, neutral eyecolor is fabulous. Add just a touch of lipgloss and your good to go.

Exfoliate and Moisturize

To keep your skin looking fresh exfoliate on a regular basis. This will get rid of those dulling flakes while gently cleansing to leave your skin glowing and radiant. Don't forget to moisturize too. The sun and tanning beds can dehydrate your skin.

Dry skin reflects UV Rays so MOISTURIZE your skin.

Bright colors are in this spring. Bright colors such as bright orange, sunny yellow and even neon pink. So make sure when your out and about this spring your colors are bold and hot.
